"Roxy, fix your ears!!!"
She LOVES going in the car, especially when I let her ride shotgun. Of course if you're gonna sit in the passenger seat you gotta buckle up for safety...
The Ironman was held here in PE and the whole town came out to watch and cheer people on. Here's a division taking off into the sea:
Swim/Bike transition area:
Jeff participated in the corporate Ironman as a runner for his team. We came out to cheer him on. He was fast!
NOV team after the race:
On the day of the actual Ironman half the roads in town were closed including our road into town. We walked down our side street to the main road so we could watch the bikers going past. Can't imagine riding 180km after a 3.6km swim and THEN running a marathon.... no thanks!
Sasha decided she wanted short hair. What can you do, girls have to change it up from time to time right? So in to the salon we went. Here's her "before" pic!
So excited!
And her "after"! She does look really cute with her short hair. Both kids are now rocking the tie and the long pants/tight look as we have moved into mandatory winter uniform.
Sasha opted out of gymnastics (hooray!) and started taking riding lessons, which she LOVES!
And we participated in the school camp out! How fun to be able to camp in the school yard, BBQ with all your friends and sleep over!
Teddy found this cool pet at the campout:
He stayed with us for quite a while but I finally convinced the kids to let him go. Maximus eats lizards after all...
Even though it is "Winter" we occasionally get a GORGEOUS day and head to the beach! This Saturday it was 80° and we spent the whole morning, swam in the ocean and everything. This is winter eh?
"Why is no one throwing this??"
Teddy has really gotten the hang of his mtn bike, gear shifting and all. There is a trail system right near us with 40km of single track and we love to go out there with the dog and ride. This is a dream come true for me after TX and South Korea where mtn biking was really not available. It's the perfect trail system for kids to learn on too. Really flat with all kinds of cool twists and turns and bridges. So fun!
Looking forward to the rest of "winter"!

Looking forward to experiencing part of Winter with you there!
